Six people have died of fever in North Korea after the first confirmation of a cod infection. It is also reported that more than 180,000 people are undergoing treatment.
North Korea's state news agency CNA quoted officials as saying that one of the six people killed the previous day had been found to be code-positive.
The KCNA report added that an unknown fever, which has been spreading rapidly across the country since the end of April, has not yet been identified. One hundred and eighty-eight thousand people have been admitted to isolation wards for treatment after 18,000 people showed symptoms of the fever on Thursday.
According to state media, President Kim Jong Un visited the National Center for the Prevention of Infectious Diseases to monitor the situation of corona virus in the country.
It should be noted that a nationwide lockdown was announced on Thursday after North Korea admitted for the first time the presence of cod infection. Earlier, North Korea claimed that it had managed to stem the tide of global warming.
It should be noted that the country's 2.5 million population has not even received a dose of the corona vaccine because North Korea had refused to receive the vaccine from Corona's global vaccine program Kovacs and China's Cynovic Biotech.
