T20 World Cup warm-up match Pakistan defeated West Indies


 
Pakistan won by 7 wickets against West Indies in the warm up match of T20 World Cup.

In the warm-up match of T20 World Cup, Shaheens defeated Kali Andhi. West Indies' 131-run target was easily achieved by the Pakistani batsmen after losing just three wickets in the 16th over.

The highlight of the match was the excellent batting of Fakhruzzaman who played an outclass innings of 46 off 24 balls and played a key role in helping Pakistan to victory.

Captain Babar Azam also started the tournament aggressively by scoring a half-century in the warm-up match while Shoaib Malik remained unbeaten on 14 runs.

Earlier, West Indies won the toss and elected to bat against Pakistan. Lindley Summons and Fletcher started the innings.

Due to the excellent bowling of the national cricket team, 4 players were out for only 63 runs.

Among the players who came later was a partnership between Hit Meyer and Karen Pollard, which allowed the West Indies to score only 130 runs in the allotted 20 overs.

For Pakistan, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Afridi and Hassan Ali took 2.2 wickets each.

It should be noted that the group matches in the T20 World Cup will start from October 24 and Pakistan will play its first match against India on the same day.
