US journalist Glenn Beck has thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Pakistani people for their help in evacuating journalists and Americans from Afghanistan.
The journalist shared the story of the Prime Minister's assistance in withdrawing from Afghanistan on social media and said that he contacted several world leaders but no one came forward. Come forward with determination. Tribute to PMIK by someone not expected to say good things about Pakistani leadership. All decisions i have seen @ImranKhanPTI take in the decade that i have worked closely with him, have been guided by his empathy for those in difficult circumstances & a desire for peace. https://t.co/AnAfD3Yw7F
He said that the help extended by the people of Pakistan and the Prime Minister could not be thanked in words.
The journalist wrote in a letter to the Prime Minister that Pakistan's cooperation in the withdrawal of US and NATO allies and the women's football team from Mazar-e-Sharif proved that Pakistan was America's best ally in all circumstances, despite recent criticism.
Words cannot express our gratitude to Prime Minister Khan and the people of Pakistan. @ImranKhanPTI pic.twitter.com/8Bz7frUjyY
