Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud has said that the Taliban are following a wait-and-see policy to recognize the government.
The Saudi Foreign Minister is currently on a visit to India where he also met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In an interview to Indian TV, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud said that Kashmir is a mutual issue of India and Pakistan, the two countries should resolve disputes through dialogue.
He said the re-emergence of al-Qaeda, ISIS and the Taliban in Afghanistan was worrying.
The Saudi foreign minister said there were concerns about the spread of terrorism from Afghanistan to other countries, but the Taliban said Afghan soil would not be used for terrorism in any other country.
He said the Taliban were pursuing a wait-and-see policy to recognize the government while seeking peace, stability and inclusion in Afghanistan.
