The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent a summary of the reduction in prices of petroleum products to the Ministry of Petroleum.
OGRA has proposed a reduction of Rs 3.5 per liter in the price of petrol and Rs 5 per liter in the price of diesel. The final decision regarding the new prices will be taken by the Ministry of Petroleum. The new rates will come into effect from September 1 after final approval by the Ministry of Petroleum.
