According to The Economist, the Belgian capital, Brussels, has dropped two places in the list of the safest cities in the world, to 26th.
The index is compiled every two years, and the city's ranking is based on a number of factors, including digital, health, infrastructure, environmental and personal protection. Brussels ranks 26th with an average score of 73.6. Copenhagen ranks second with an average of 82.4, Toronto second with an average of 82.2 and Singapore third with an average of 80.7. Which was 19th in 2017 and 24th in 2019.
