Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that despite the challenges, Pakistan's borders are secure, the armed forces are ready to deal with any situation, peace in Afghanistan is essential for development in the region.
According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), members of the Parliamentary Committees on Defense and Kashmir visited the General Headquarters (GHQ). The members of the committees were briefed on the security situation. The delegation was briefed on the situation along the borders and the peace efforts of the Pakistan Army.
Talking to the delegation, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the Armed Forces had achieved successes against terrorism with the support of the people and normalized the situation in the country, taking timely steps under border management on the western border. Despite the challenges, thank God, Pakistan's borders are secure today and the armed forces are ready to deal with any situation.
Talking about the fruits of regional connectivity, the Chief of Army Staff said that peace in Afghanistan was essential for development in the region. He clarified that the world should know that peace is not possible without resolving the Kashmir issue. Until the Kashmir issue is resolved, peace will remain a deception.
