Police fear that there is a threat of terrorism at the December 13 meeting of the Pakistan Democratic Movement. Religious and political leaders, especially PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah, could be targeted.
In a letter to Lahore police, Rana Sanaullah has been advised to use a bulletproof vehicle, cancel rallies and corner meetings due to security concerns. Meanwhile, Rana Sanaullah has said that no politician has ever been in his government No such threat alert has been issued, the government has resorted to clever tactics instead of providing security.
