Police issued a threat alert for a terrorist attack on PDM leaders.
According to private TV, the police have issued a terror alert at the PDM's Lahore meeting. The threat alert said that there could be terrorism in the PDM meeting and other leaders including Maryam Nawaz could be targeted. Police have alerted the political leadership to the danger of a possible attack.
It may be recalled that a meeting has been announced by the PDM on December 13 in Lahore. In addition, an important summit of the PDM leadership was held on Tuesday in which it was decided that all members of the opposition assembly would submit their resignations to the leadership by December 31.
