In a village in the Kotwali Basuli area of Uttar Pradesh's Badaun district, a middle-aged man accused of sexual harassment was blackmailed late Tuesday night, put on a donkey and paraded around the village, videotaping the entire process. It went viral. Police reached the spot after receiving information and arrested two persons today and started investigation.
According to locals, a middle-aged man from a village in Basoli Kotwali area broke into a woman's house late Tuesday night and reached the woman's room, avoiding family members and started teasing her and molested her.
When the woman made a noise, the family arrested him and beat him up. And after blackening her face and putting her on a donkey, he was taken around the village in the night and a video was made and it went viral.
Senior Superintendent of Police Sankalp Sharma said that after the video of the accident went viral, the police took immediate action and registered a case and arrested two persons.
