New cases of the corona virus rose in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday. More than 400 patients have come forward.
"Currently, the number of active cases in the country has come down to 7,783, out of which 736 patients are undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit."
According to the Ministry of Health, 436 new patients have been confirmed in the last 24 hours on Friday, November 6. Thus, the number of victims in the country has increased to 349,822.
"In the last 24 hours, 465 people have recovered," Sabq News quoted figures released by the health ministry as saying. So far, 336,533 people have been cured of the disease.
The health ministry said 17 people had died in Corona yesterday. Thus, the total number of deaths in the country has reached 5,506.
The highest number of new cases of corona virus in different cities during the last 24 hours was in Riyadh where 69 new cases have been reported.
The statement said that 51 cases have been detected in Madinah, 50 in Makkah, 28 in Yanbu, 25 in Barida, 23 in Al-Hofuf, 18 in Jeddah, 13 in Khamis Mushait, 11 in Dammam, 10 in Hail and 9 in Qatif.
According to the latest figures, the number of cases of coronavirus in 15 cities has been confirmed to be one, one in 19 cities, two, two in 12 and three in cities, three in three and four in four.
Saudi Arabia continues to take precautionary measures against infectious diseases and the spread of epidemics.
A Health Ministry spokesman said: "The number of Corona cases has been steadily declining and we are moving in the right direction."
The spokesman said that so far all indications of a reduction in Corona cases are promising.
