The Human Resource Development Fund (Target) has extended the duration of the assistance scheme for Saudi women registered with the Transportation Support Program "Receipt" in Saudi Arabia to 24 months instead of 12 months.
According to Arab News, according to the new method of this program, the women who benefit from the aid can get 80% discount on each trip ticket.
Under this discount scheme, women earning less than 6,000 riyals will be able to get assistance of 1,100 riyals per month.
In addition, for women working for 6,000 to 8,000 riyals a month, the assistance will be up to 800 riyals a month.
The service is being provided by licensed companies through the Saudi Ministry of Transportation to ensure the safety of passengers and maintain high quality services.
The receipt program covers 13 areas of the country for this service. These include Riyadh, Makkah, Sharqiyah Region, Madinah, Tabuk, Asir, Qasim, Hail, Jazan, Northern Frontier, Najran, Al-Jawf and Al-Baha.
