Federal Minister Hammad Azhar has said that Pakistan has shown significant progress on the FATF Action Plan. Pakistan has cleared 21 out of 27 points.
Reacting to the retention of FATF Pakistan in the gray list by the Federal Minister for Industries and Production Hamad Azhar on the micro-blogging website Twitter, the Federal Minister said that Pakistan has shown significant progress on the FATF Action Plan. He said that Pakistan has cleared Pakistan on 27 to 21 points. Pakistan's work on 6 points has been completed to a large extent. "In one year we worked 5 to 21 points," he said.
It may be recalled that the Financial Action Task Force maintained Pakistan's performance in the gray list. FATF said that Pakistan's performance has been improving and it has implemented enough points. It would be unfair to blacklist Pakistan.
Pak has achieved impressive progress on its FATF action plan.
