The FATF has kept Pakistan on the gray list but removed Iceland and Mongolia from the gray list.
According to the British news agency Reuters, FATF has kept Pakistan in the gray list of terror financing. The FATF has praised Pakistan's many initiatives, with Pakistan implementing 21 of the 27 action items.
"As all deadlines for the Action Plan have passed, the FATF urges Pakistan to fully implement the Action Plan by February 2021," the FATF statement said.
Gibran Pesh Imam, bureau chief of Reuters in Pakistan, said that the six items that Pakistan has not implemented are very important and must be implemented. He also said that Iceland and Mongolia had been removed from the FATF's gray list.
