Smog problem, cricket matches shifted from Lahore to Rawalpindi and Karachi

 

The series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe and the scheduled matches of PSL in Lahore have been shifted to Rawalpindi and Karachi due to smog.

Following reports of possible smog in Lahore next month, the PCB has shifted the scheduled matches in Lahore to Rawalpindi and Karachi, keeping in view the health of the players. The three T20 matches in the series against Pakistan and Zimbabwe are now The remaining four matches of HBLPSL 2020 will now be played in Karachi. Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Executive Wasim Khan said that we have been keeping a close watch on the changing weather conditions for the last few weeks. And as soon as we get information about the increase in smog in Lahore next month, we have decided to move these matches to Rawalpindi and Karachi immediately instead of compromising on the health of the players.

PCB chief executive Wasim Khan said he was grateful to the Zimbabwe cricket team and the HBL PSL franchises for acknowledging our decision.
