Veteran Indian filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who is facing serious charges, has hinted at legal action against 29-year-old actress Lovina Lodh.
Mahesh Bhatt's legal team released a statement on the social media page of Vishesh Films, denying the serious allegations made by Lovina Lodh.
The legal team has dismissed other allegations against its client Mahesh Bhatt, including harassment and intimidation by Lovina Lodh, and has announced legal action against the actress.
"Such allegations are not only false and defamatory, but also have serious legal consequences," the legal team said, citing a nearly 2-minute video of Lovina Lodh shared on Instagram on Friday. We will take legal action accordingly.
Yesterday, Lovina Lodh had leveled several serious allegations against Mahesh Bhatt, calling him Bollywood's 'biggest don', as well as opening a Pandora's box on drug trafficking and drug addiction by actors.
He had said that I am the wife of Mahesh Bhatt's nephew Sumat Sabharwal, I have filed for divorce from my husband.
Mentioning the reasons for her divorce, Lovina Lodh had said that her husband provides drugs to many actors and Mahesh Bhatt is well aware of all the activities of Sumat Sabharwal.
The actress termed Mahesh Bhatt as the biggest 'Dawn' of the film industry and said that he runs the entire system of Bollywood, if you don't follow its rules, it makes your life difficult, and by quitting work. Many lives have been ruined.
He had revealed that since I had filed a case against Mahesh Bhatt, he had been threatening me and trying to enter my house and evict me.
Lovina Lodh blamed Mahesh Bhatt, Mukesh Bhatt, Sumat Sabharwal, Sahil Sehgal and Kim Kim Sehgal for any untoward incident with her or her family.
It may be recalled that Mahesh Bhatt's name had earlier come to light during the investigation into the murder of Shant Singh Rajput.
