9 more deaths from Corona in Pakistan, 832 new cases reported

 

The global epidemic Corona virus has killed nine more people in Pakistan, bringing the total death toll to 6,736.

According to the National Command and Operations Center, 832 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours and the total number has reached 327,895. In Pakistan, 310,491 corona patients have recovered and the number of active cases is 10,668.

The corona virus has caused 2,335 deaths in Punjab and 2,598 in Sindh. The death toll in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has risen to 1,269, in Islamabad 210, in Balochistan 148, in Gilgit-Baltistan 90 and in Azad Kashmir 86.

The number of corona cases in Islamabad has reached 18,921. One lakh 2 thousand 677 cases have been reported in Punjab, one lakh 43 thousand 526 in Sindh, 39 thousand 15 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15 thousand 801 in Balochistan, 4 thousand 167 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 3 thousand 788 in Azad Kashmir.

There are facilities for corona patients in 735 hospitals in Pakistan and the number of ventilators for corona patients in hospitals is 1,920. There are 132 testing laboratories working in the country and trace, test and quarantine strategies are working effectively in several cities.
