The United States will not immediately approve the integration of the West Bank into Israel.

 

Talking to reporters, Jared Kishner said that in view of the agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel and the efforts for peace in the region, the United States will not allow Israel for some time, according to Al Jazeera. Will not approve the merger.

It should be noted that the United Arab Emirates and Israel have signed an agreement to establish diplomatic relations between the two countries in other areas, including trade.

The UAE said Israel had postponed the integration decision, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made it clear that the integration plan had not been abandoned but had been suspended.

"Israel has agreed with us that it will not take action without our consent and we have no plans to agree for some time," Kishner said in a briefing.

"At the moment, our focus is on the implementation of the new peace agreement,".

"We really want the relationship between Israel and the UAE to be as close as possible, and we want Israel to focus on new relations and new allies," the White House adviser said.

Last week, the United Arab Emirates and Israel signed a "peace agreement" that would restore diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Under the agreement, Israel will postpone its plan for unilateral annexation of parts of the occupied West Bank.

Announcing the agreement, the US president said that the Israeli and UAE delegations would sign bilateral agreements in the coming weeks on investment, tourism, direct flights, security and the establishment of mutual embassies.

In this regard, the Israeli Minister of Intelligence had said that after the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain and Oman could also be the next Gulf countries to formalize diplomatic relations with Israel.

Both Bahrain and Oman have praised the agreement between the UAE and Israel.

UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Qarqash had said that the UAE's agreement to normalize relations with Israel was an "independent decision" and had nothing to do with Iran.

Iran and Turkey have expressed outrage at the UAE's decision to normalize diplomatic relations with Israel.

Later, the President of Israel invited Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed of Abu Dhabi to visit Jerusalem.

In a letter to Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed Zayed, Israeli President Raven Rivlin said "leadership ability in decisive days is measured by the courage and ability and foresight to move forward."

"I have no doubt that future generations will appreciate the courageous, wise leaders like you, based on peace and trust, dialogue between people and religions, cooperation and decisions on a hopeful future," said Raven Revlin. '

"I invite you, the people of Israel and (personally), to visit Israel and Jerusalem and be honored to be our honored guests," the Israeli president said in the letter.

"I hope that this step will help strengthen and consolidate the trust between us and the people of the region, and that trust will promote understanding between us all".
