'Historic peace agreement' between Israel and UAE.

US President Donald Trump has played a key role in reaching a landmark agreement between the Gulf states of the United Arab Emirates and Israel to normalize relations between the two countries.

Under an agreement reached on Thursday, Israel has said it will withdraw from areas on the West Bank that it wanted to occupy.

White House officials say the deal is the result of long-running negotiations between the United Arab Emirates, Israel and the United States.

Since the deal, the UAE has become the third country to establish relations with Israel and the first in the Gulf.

A joint statement issued by Israel and the United Arab Emirates said that the historic diplomatic breakthrough would lead to peace in the Middle East, in line with the vision of the leaders of the three countries and the enthusiasm of Israel and the United Arab Emirates. As a result, new avenues will open up in the region.

US President Donald Trump has called the deal the first step, telling reporters at the Oval Office that the ice has now melted and it is hoped that more Arab and Muslim countries will follow in the footsteps of the UAE. Will build relations with Israel.
