According to media reports, Oman came out in support of the deal between the two countries, and Oman's state news agency quoted Foreign Ministry sources as saying that "the Sultanate of Oman supports the deal", calling the deal historic. US President Trump announced the deal on Thursday. The joint statement from the United States, Israel and the United Arab Emirates said the latest developments would strengthen peace in the Middle East and support the vision of the three leaders.

The UAE News Agency also called the agreement a step towards enhancing bilateral relations.
