Directors of successful films like 'Darshyam' and 'Madari' have passed away

According to the Times of India, Nishikant Kamath was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad, Telangana, and had been in critical condition for several days.

News of his death had gone viral on Indian social media since the previous day. However, actors and family members close to the filmmaker denied the reports and said that the condition of the filmmaker was "extremely worrying".

He was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad on July 31 last month after complaining of abdominal pain, where he was diagnosed with a chronic liver disease.

While Nishikant Kamath has directed several successful Hindi films, he has also directed Marathi and Tamil films.

Nishikant Kamath also showed the essence of acting in some Hindi films as well as Indian films in other languages. He had also been given the National Award for Best Film Director while he had won a few other film awards.

Coincidentally, the Bollywood actor Irfan Khan's film Madari, directed by Nishi Kant Kamat in 2016, also died in April this year at the age of 54 due to cancer.

Nishikant Kamath started directing in 2004 and initially made Marathi films.

Among the popular films of Nishi Kant Kamat are Ajay Devgn's 2015 and Tabu's 'Darshyam', Irfan Khan's 2016 film 'Madari', Jan Ibrahim's 2011 film 'Force', Arjun Rampal's and Farhan Akhtar's political thriller film '2017'. Daddy 'and the 2017 thriller romantic film' Julie 2 '.

Political and social figures, including several actors, filmmakers and other showbiz personalities, lamented the death of Nishikant Kamath, calling his death a loss to the film industry.
