Do you know from where actors and actress get their dresses for events?

The truth is that most famous personalities—actors, singers, models, etc.—who appear every day in new and expensive outfits usually do not actually own those clothes.

These outfits are often borrowed from brands or designers

For red carpets, award shows, photo shoots, concerts, or TV shows, big brands typically lend clothes to celebrities just so their name and designs get exposure.

The clothes are returned afterwards.

Some outfits are gifted by PR teams or sponsors.

If a star is very prominent, a brand may gift them clothes, so they use them and provide subtle promotion.

Some clothes are auctioned or donated.

Celebrities often auction or donate the expensive clothes or shoes they’ve worn for charity.

The reason they avoid wearing the same outfit repeatedly is to maintain their image.

In showbiz, repeating the same dress is considered unprofessional or unfashionable, which is why you don’t see them wearing the same thing again and again.

Some stars keep certain special outfits in their personal collection as memorabilia. However, most clothes are stored in stylish storerooms

Those who keep large collections often have big dressing rooms or storage areas built specifically for this purpose—but only very top-level celebrities can afford that.
