Member National Assembly Dr. Amir Liaquat Hussain passed away

KARACHI: Member National Assembly Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain has passed away, MPAPTI Jamal Siddiqui has confirmed his death.

According to details, National Assembly member Amir Liaquat Hussain has passed away. MPA PTI Jamal Siddiqui has confirmed that the employee has said that MNA Amir Liaquat has passed away.

Sources said that when the employee went inside the room, Dr Amir Liaqat was unconscious. The employee shifted Dr Amir Liaqat to the hospital, his house was full of smoke.

Earlier, there were reports that Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain was brought to the hospital in a dead condition, after which the hospital management confirmed the news of Dr Amir Liaquat's death and said that he died due to suffocation.

Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf said that it is sad news that Dr. Amir Liaquat has passed away. The proceedings of the House should be stopped immediately.

SSP East Abdul Rahim Shirazi had said that we were informed by the rescue authorities, Amir Liaqat's house is within the limits of Brigade Police Station, doctors will be able to tell more only after the report.

Abdul Rahim Shirazi said that a team of police was reaching the hospital and another house.
