Leading Indian singer and actor Krishna Kumar alias 'KK' has died at the age of 53.
According to Indian media, famous singer and actor Krishna Kumar was performing at a function in Kolkata, West Bengal when he suddenly lost his temper and fell on the stage and died.
The singer, popularly known as 'KK', was rushed to a private hospital but had earlier lost his life. On arrival at the hospital, doctors confirmed Krishna Kumar's death. Extremely sad and devastated. Another shocking loss for all of us. Can’t believe our KK sir is no more… what is even happening. I can’t take it anymore.
Krishna Kumar Kanath was born in Delhi on August 22, 1968 and passed away in Calcutta at the age of 53. He is survived by his wife and children.
The singer and composer has given many popular songs to the Indian film industry in Tamil, Telugu, Canadian and Bengali languages, including Hindi. During his career, he focused on playback singing for Bollywood.
Krishna Kumar released his first album of songs 'Pal' in 1999. In the famous songs of the singer, 'Dil Ibadat, Tohi Meri Shab Hai, Sun Zara' 'Includes a number of songs which have been well received all over the world, including India.
The death of the singer and composer is being mourned by fans, artists and political and social figures, including Indian legend Virender Sehwag and Arman Malik.
