Israeli security forces beat and tortured worshipers. The Palestinian Red Crescent said that 152 worshipers were wounded in the operation by Israeli forces, of which about a dozen were in critical condition.
On the other hand, the Israeli police said that some worshipers hurled stones at the place reserved for the Jews.
During the month of Ramadan, thousands of Muslims come to the holy mosque for worship, and a code of conduct was agreed between the custodian of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Jordan, and the Israeli government to avoid any untoward incident.
It should be noted that in the last two weeks, 25 Palestinians have been martyred in various operations of Israeli forces since a dozen Jews were killed in four different attacks in Israel.
