There are rumors that actor Akshay Kumar will not be appearing in 'The Kapil Sharma Show' for the promotion of his next film 'Bachchan Pandey'.
According to Indian media, Akshay Kumar is reportedly angry with comedian Kapil Sharma for leaking the video which he had banned from airing.
The leaked video was allegedly related to his interview with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to the Hindustan Times, Kapil asked Akshay about his interview with a 'celebrity' and said that he should also ask in the interview how he feels about eating mangoes.
Hearing this, Akshay Kumar laughed, Kapil was allegedly quoting Akshay's interview with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the clip of this conversation between Akshay and Kapil has allegedly become a source of controversy.
Leaked video?
Indian media, citing sources, claimed that after the shooting ended, Akshay asked the channel not to air the clip as it discussed the Prime Minister's Office.
According to Indian media, the source told the website, "It is the right of the guests to make such a request as the show is not live. The channel agreed but the clip was soon leaked on the internet."
It was a breach of trust by someone in the couple's team and Akshay has sought an explanation before rejoining the show.
