The shocking incident took place in the town of Hagerstown, where a wife sent her husband to fetch chickens from a shop, but when he returned, he had 1 100,000 worth of lottery tickets in his hand.
The 52-year-old man told Maryland Lottery officials that his wife sent him to get chickens from a nearby store to make something good for the family's dinner. When they got there, they got a 10 10 lottery ticket from a lottery vending machine.
He said that when he scratched a lottery ticket after eating, at first he misunderstood the numbers. He thought he had written $10 and thought he would get the money back, but when he looked carefully, it was $100,000.
The wife said that her husband happily said some nasty words which were not good for the children and we felt that he was angry or upset about something. However, he said that he would now be able to take out easy loans with this money, go for a walk, renovate his house and maybe even get a new TV.
