Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut termed Deepika Padukone's new film "Gehraiyaan" as a rubbish heap.
Recently, Kangana Ranaut and Ananya Pandey's film "Deepness" has been released on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. The film was criticized before its release for being too bold and obscene.
However, the makers called the movie "Gehraiyaan" a modern day movie. But even after its release, the film did not impress analysts and audiences. Actress Kangana Ranaut has criticized this film a lot.
Commenting on the film on social media, Kangana Ranaut said, "Please don't sell rubbish in the name of new era or urban films. Bad movies are bad, body exposure or pornography cannot save them. It is a basic fact that there is no such thing as "Gehraiyaan".
It is to be noted that actresses Deepika Padukone, Ananya Pandey, Sadhant Chatterjee and Dheria Karwa have played the lead roles in the film. Apart from them, Naseeruddin Shah has also appeared in important roles in the film. Shakin Batra has directed the film and Karan Johar is the producer of the film.
