Noor Muqaddam's father said that he and his wife had left home for some work on July 19 and Noor was not there when he returned home.

Shaukat Ali Muqaddam said that after that he started looking for Noor and when Noor picked up his phone, he said that she was going to Lahore with her friends for a few days and told her parents not to worry.

"I know Zahir's family. On July 20, Zahir called me on two numbers in the afternoon and said that Noor was not with him," he said.

He added that later at 10 pm he received a call from Kohsar police station informing him that his daughter had been killed and he was called to the police station.

Shaukat Muqaddam said that when he reached the police station, he was taken to a house which was Zahir's house.

He called on July 18 and his mobile phone was confiscated earlier.

Shaukat said that the phone was found in the closet on the way to Zahir's residence.

Zahir's father and co-accused Zakir Jaffer's lawyer Basharatullah Khan then cross-examined Shaukat Muqaddam's statement.

He asked Shaukat Muqaddam to confirm whether it was normal for Noor to leave his house without informing him. He also asked the victim's father about where he had found Noor and whether he Provided the names of his friends in the investigation.

Shaukat Ali Muqaddam replied, "No, I did not name any friend and I did not look for Noor after the phone call."
