Neighboring India's state assembly member has announced that he will make the 14 world class roads in his constituency even better than the cheeks of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut.
According to Indian news agency Asian News International (ANI), Irfan Ansari, a Congressman from the Indian state of Jharkhand, claimed to have made 14 roads in his constituency smoother than Kangana Ranaut's cheeks.
Irfan Ansari claimed in a video made by himself that construction of roads in his constituency Jamatra will start soon.
In the short video, he claimed that all the 14 roads in his constituency would be world class and would be smoother and smoother than Kangana Ranaut's cheeks.
Irfan Ansari initially uploaded the video on his social media accounts, after which he deleted it.
Irfan Ansari was targeted after his announcement to make the roads smoother and smoother than Kangana Ranaut's cheeks and his remarks were termed as anti-women.
This is not the first time that an Indian politician has likened the streets to the cheeks of Bollywood actresses. In November last year, Rajasthan Minister Rajendra Singh Godha had also said that he wanted the roads in his constituency to be like Katrina Kaif's 'cheeks'.
He had expressed this desire during his address at the meeting, where the people of the constituency had demanded the minister to rebuild the roads in the area, to which the minister had said that Katrina Kaif's 'cheek' in his constituency. Like roads will be built.
The Minister of State had said after the people's order that he would instruct the construction officials to build the roads like Katrina Kaif's 'cheek'. Before Rajendra Singh Gowda, in 2005 Indian politician Lalu Prasad Yadav had also said after the demand of the people that the roads of his area would be made smooth like the 'cheeks' of actress Hema Malani. Similarly, in 2019, Madhya Pradesh Minister PC Sharma had also told the people of his constituency that the roads in his area would soon be beautified like Hema Malani's 'cheek'.
