Anushka Sharma's brilliant return to the screen
Leading Indian actress Anushka Sharma is all set to return to the screen after a long hiatus.
The actress, who had been away from Bollywood for some time after the birth of her daughter, is now excited to return to the screen with Chakda Express, a film about the career of former Indian cricket captain Jhulan Goswami.
Anushka Sharma has shared a teaser of her new movie on the photo and video-sharing app Instagram.
"This is a very special film for him because it is basically a story of great sacrifice," he wrote while sharing this teaser.
"Chakda Express is inspired by the life events of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and it will be an amazing film on the world of women's cricket," she added.
"When Jhulan decided to become a cricketer and make her country famous on the world stage, it was very difficult for women to even think about playing the game."
Concluding her detailed note, Anushka wrote, “As a cricketing nation, we have to pay our due to our women cricketers."
Anushka Sharma's film 'Chakda Express' will be released on OTT platform Netflix.
