Landslides cut off ground communication between Gilgit and Rawalpindi

 

Landslide on Karakoram Highway has cut off ground communication between Gilgit and Rawalpindi.

A motorcyclist has been killed in a landslide near Kohistan-e-Kamila. According to Pattan police station in Gilgit, Karakoram highway has been closed for all kinds of traffic due to the landslide. Road maintenance work cannot be done at night, highway maintenance work will start in the morning. Passengers are facing severe difficulties due to the closure of the Karakoram Highway.
