Even after winning, the PML-N's worries did not stop

PML-N has won the by-election in NA-133 constituency. Turnout in the constituency was extremely low.

According to the Election Commission, the turnout in NA-133 was 18.59 percent and out of 440,485 registered votes, only 80,997 votes were cast. In the by-elections, 50,936 men and 30,959 women cast their votes while 898 votes were rejected. In contrast, in the 2018 general elections, the voter turnout in the same constituency was 51.89%.

It may be recalled that the NA-133 seat was vacated due to the death of PML-N's Pervez Malik. His widow Shaista Pervaiz Malik won this constituency by getting 46,811 votes while Chaudhry Aslam Gul of Pakistan Peoples Party came second with 32,313 votes.
