The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) witnessed a sharp decline on Thursday. At the beginning of the day, the 100 Index was at 45,369 points, but the sale of shares by investors began to cast a shadow over the market. Continued till the end.
The PSX 100 Index closed at 43,234, down 2135 points at the end of trading.
Shares of 366 companies were traded on Thursday, out of which shares of 336 companies declined while shares of 17 companies increased, while shares of 13 companies remained stable.
On the other hand, the KSE 30 Index declined by 877 points, the KMI 30 Index by 4195 points and the All Shares Index by 1325 points.
