Mathira endured violence and ridicule to save her marriage


 
Model, actress and host Mathira has said that in order to save the marriage, not only did she do things at home and her husband that she should not have done, but she also endured violence and ridicule.

The model and actress recently appeared on ARY's 'Our Guests' program, where for the first time she spoke openly about her divorce, but she kept it a secret, calling it a personal matter. Just like

According to the actress and host, Pakistani society is not tolerant enough to bring out all the details of their family.


Mathira said that if she brought out the issues of her parents and home culture, she would support 10% of the people and the remaining 90% would blame her.

He said that after moving from Zimbabwe to Pakistan, she faced difficulties due to lack of knowledge of language and traditions.

Mathira said that if any person in Pakistan is called 'Jano' or 'Darling' then its meaning is considered wrong and people here do not even understand the issue of dress.


She complained that she also wears T-shirts like ordinary showbiz women but wearing them causes more problems to people and more ugly things are said about them.

In response to a question, she revealed that she does not wear clothes of Pakistani fashion designers.

Mathira also spoke openly about marriage in the program and said that she fell in love with her husband emotionally and she also endured violence and ridicule to save her love and marriage.

The actress said that she loved her husband so much that she was not ready to believe that her husband did not love her at all.

Talking about married life, she spoke about the attitude of the husband's parents and especially the mother and said that mothers should understand that marriage of a son does not mean losing him.

Mathira said that most mothers in Pakistan are afraid that they will lose their son after marriage but this does not happen and when mothers become victims of this fear, they start creating problems.

According to the model and actress, when they got married, they deviated from the plan and did the housework and they had already thought that she would do everything to save the marriage but in the end they got divorced.

She did not say exactly what caused her divorce, but said she endured violence and ridicule to save the marriage, and in a way, she became a victim of mental slavery.

She advised the women to end the relationship if it was not working and if there was greed or humiliation in it, do not think that ending the relationship would end the life.

According to Mathira, getting divorced or remarrying is not a sin, but it is not proper to tolerate violence or ridicule.


He also revealed that his financial situation had deteriorated after the divorce and despite asking people for help, he was not helped.

Mathira said that in the days of financial hardship, she would go hungry for many days and would spend only one meal a day and night while traveling from one place to another, including traveling in rickshaws on foot. 

It may be recalled that Mathira came to Pakistan from the African country of Zimbabwe in 2004. She was born and raised in Zimbabwe. Her father is a good and famous politician of Zimbabwe.

Her mother is from Pakistan and after her mother's divorce she came to Pakistan from Zimbabwe and she started hosting TV entertainment shows.

Later, she started modeling and in August 2014, she married Punjabi singer Car Flint J. However, four years later, in 2018, they divorced. They also have a son.
