The film on atrocities against Dalits in India broke the record of Hollywood films

India, which on the one hand boasts of being the largest democracy in the world, and on the other hand, trampling underfoot the people belonging to the lower castes there, shows a horrible face of this so-called democracy on which humanity is ashamed. Goes

A recently released film showing the same disgusting face of India to the world broke such ratings and popularity records that it surpassed even the Hollywood movie "Godfather".

The only formula known to Bollywood filmmakers and actors like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh to make their films a hit is to portray Pakistan and Muslims as negatively as possible in their films and call them terrorists. Then these actors in police uniforms protect their country India.

Despite the passage of years, Bollywood still could not get out of the frenzy against Pakistan and Muslims. If he came out, he would see that in fact India itself has fallen into such a state of degradation in which human beings are not even considered to be trampled underfoot.

Recently, on November 2, Amazon Prime released a movie called "Jay Bhim" which was released mainly in Tamil but is also available in Hindi and Telugu. In this film, the face of India has been brought before the world which will make even the heads of Indians bow their heads in shame.

The film depicts an example of the brutal torture of caste-bound people in India so that one would be ashamed to look at it and not look at oneself.

The story of the movie "Jay Bhim" revolves around the lower caste people living in India who are called "Dalits". People who catch snakes and rats for a living. The film tells the story of "oppression" against Dalits. Dalits make up about 20% of the Indian population and despite laws to protect them, they still face discrimination and violence in India today.

In the film, when the house of an upper caste person is burglarized, he accuses the lower caste people without any evidence and the police also arrest these lower caste people illegally without any evidence and then on them. By forcibly torturing them, they are forced to confess to a sin they have never committed.

The twist in the story comes when the pregnant wife of the arrested person decides to get her husband out and then the lawyer named Chandra who is actually the main character of this film comes out as the voice of these Dalits and then the Indian. Such layers of law and justice open up that even the police themselves would be ashamed to see. (Chandra is played by Tamil actor Surya who is also the producer of the film).

The film "Jay Bhim" shows the face of the police in which the police misuse their powers to protect the people.

The way the film portrays the difference between upper and lower castes has removed many veils from the face of India which has caused a lot of pain and hence a person belonging to the upper caste Vanyar community of India. The person, Vanyar Sangam, has sent a legal notice to the film's director and producer to tarnish the image of his community.

But people who like the film have also come to the fore and, expressing solidarity with the film crew, have launched the hashtag "We Stand With Surya" which is trending on Twitter.

The movie was released on Amazon Prime on November 2 and is so popular that it has surpassed the Hollywood movie "Godfather" in popularity on IMDB (Internet Movie Database). "Godfather" has a rating of 9.2 on IMDB while "Jay Bhim" has a rating of 9.6. The story of this film is not a fabricated story but based on a true story.

The movie "Jay Bhim" has not been released in cinemas so at the moment the box office earnings figures of this movie cannot be given. The film is directed and written by TJ Gunanwal and produced by Jyotika and Surya. Interestingly, actor Surya has also played the lead role of Vakil Chandra in the film.
