Farmers had protested against the arrival of Deputy Chief Minister Ajay Mishra in Uttar Pradesh yesterday, during which the BJP leader's son drove over the protesters, killing eight farmers.
Farmer leaders demanded the arrest of the deputy interior minister's son who was driving. Opposition leaders, including Navjot Sidhu, were coming to Uttar Pradesh to show solidarity with the farmers.
