Saudi coalition forces carry out 38 airstrikes on Houthi rebels in Yemen, killing 150

In Yemen, Saudi-led coalition forces carried out 38 airstrikes in 24 hours to stop the advance of Houthi rebels in al-Abdiyah, killing 150 militants.

Clashes between government forces and insurgents continue in the al-Abdiyah area of Marab in Yemen, according to the international news agency. Saudi coalition forces have carried out a series of airstrikes on rebel strongholds.

The coalition claimed 38 air strikes in the past 24 hours. The attacks killed more than 150 Houthi fighters and wounded several others, while 13 Houthi militia vehicles were destroyed.

Meanwhile, Houthi rebels say that despite the bombardment by government forces in al-Abdiyah, we still have control, but a Houthi spokesman called the coalition's claim of such large-scale casualties baseless.

On the other hand, Yemen's Foreign Minister Ahmed bin Mubarak, in a conversation with a UN official, warned that the aggression of the Houthi militia in Marib could have serious consequences for the civilian population.

It should be noted that since 2014, due to the political crisis in Yemen, clashes between Saudi coalition forces and Iranian-backed Houthi rebels have continued, in which two and a half million people have been killed and more than one million displaced.
