Oxford and Cambridge teachers also involved in sexual harassment, Al Jazeera reports

Al Jazeera's investigation report has revealed that students at Oxford, Cambridge, Glasgow and Warwick, world-renowned UK universities, have also been the victims of sexual harassment and ill-treatment by teachers.

A two-year investigation report by the investigation unit of Qatar's Al Jazeera broadcaster has revealed that not only are students sexually harassed at renowned British universities, but some teachers also behave while intoxicated. ۔

The report further states that the grievances of the persecuted students are not effectively resolved and the administration does not appear ready to punish or dismiss the guilty teachers while avoiding any action.

Al Jazeera's investigation unit received dozens of complaints from British universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, Glasgow and Warwick, about sexual harassment, sexual discrimination, alcohol abuse and intimidation.

In its report, Al Jazeera specifically identified two professors at Oxford University, Andy Orchard and Peter Thompson, who have been accused by fellow academics and students of sexually harassing and abusing their powers under the influence of drugs.

Similar complaints have been made by female PhD lecturers headed by these two professors. It would not be wrong to call Peter Thomson the Dawn of Oxford.

Al Jazeera's investigation unit opened the case against Oxford University with evidence, and the administration said it would not comment on the individual case. However, the university condemns sexual harassment. Takes it seriously.
