The Narcotics Control Bureau had also summoned Ananya Pandey to the NCB office yesterday where she was questioned for about three hours in connection with the drug case. Ananya arrived at the NCB office with her father.
The NCB had raided Ananya Pandey's house and confiscated his mobile phone and laptop before summoning him to its office yesterday.
According to reports, actress Ananya Pandey was allegedly summoned to the NCB office after her name surfaced in the WhatsApp chat of an accused in the Mumbai Cruise Ship Drugs case.
Before appearing in the NCB office yesterday, an officer said that the fact that Ananya Pandey was being questioned did not mean that he was an accused.
According to NCB sources, a chat between Aryan Khan and Ananya Pandey on WhatsApp has come to light in which both were found talking about "Ganja".
In the WhatsApp chat, Aryan Khan asked Ananya Pandey if "cannabis" could be managed. In response, Ananya said yes, she will arrange. When NCB officials asked Ananya Pandey about the messages, she said she was joking with Aryan Khan.
NCB sources said that the two had more conversations in which they were talking about other drugs on different occasions.
It may be recalled that actress Ananya Pandey and Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan were in touch with each other on social media in the past.
It is to be noted that yesterday, when the NCB officials raided the house of actress Ananya Pandey, they also raided the house of King Khan. Indian media reports said that a raid on King Khan's house was carried out for a search operation.
The search operation was carried out after the Central Agency on Wednesday submitted a WhatsApp chat between Aryan Khan and a Bollywood actress in a Mumbai court, claiming that the two were talking about drugs in the messages.
