An elderly couple who befriended each other on an online dating app during the global epidemic Corona virus got married.
According to foreign media reports, the friendship was started by 78-year-old Jim Adams on the online dating app during the Corona lockdown. He initiated a conversation and friendship with 79-year-old Audrey Coutts.
The friendship lasted for 8 months after which they fell in love with each other. The couple got married on September 25 last month.
The groom, Jim Adams, is a retired professor whose wife died in 2017.
Newlywed 79-year-old bride Audrey Coutts was divorced 33 years ago.
Jim Adams' son JJ Adams announced his father's marriage via a message on Twitter, after which the news of his marriage spread rapidly on social media.
