After his release, the real terrorist Hassan Gul rejoined militant groups and was killed in a drone strike in Waziristan in 2012, while innocent Ahmed Rabbani endured torture at Guantanamo Bay.
According to the allegations made against Ahmad Rabbani by the US intelligence agencies, the accused stayed in Afghanistan in 1994, received military training in Khost for 7 months and Khaldan for 2 months and was imprisoned in Pakistan between 1995 and 1996 and from Osama bin Laden in 1997.
Ahmed Rabbani has also worked with Khalid Muhammad Sheikh, the protagonist of 9/11, and provided travel facilities to Arab members of al-Qaeda in Pakistan. Ahmed Rabbani's other brother, Abdul Rahim Rabbani, is also being held at Guantanamo Bay.
