Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid has said that schools for girls will be opened as soon as separate classes for girls and teachers are completed.
According to the International News Agency, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, while rejecting the impression of banning the education of girls, said that they are in favor of the education of girls and will allow education within the limits of Sharia.
A spokesman for the Taliban said that the ban on girls going to school was still in place and that separate classes and teachers were being arranged and that schools for girls would be opened in the country as soon as the process was completed.
Spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid also said that the details of the arrangements being completed and the start of schooling for girls will also be communicated to the media. Until then, the media is requested to refrain from negative reporting.
It should be noted that a statement issued by the Ministry of Education of the Taliban government two days ago had invited only male and male teachers in secondary and higher secondary schools to continue the teaching process.
