Single day vaccination in Pakistan for the first time exceeded 1.5 million

 

Federal Minister for Planning and Head of National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) Asad Umar has said that single day vaccination has crossed 1.5 million for the first time across the country, with a total of 1.59 million vaccinations.

In a message on the social networking site Twitter, Asad Omar said that by the end of August, the target had been set for 40 per cent of the population in 24 cities, of which 20 had met the target while four had failed.

Cities that did not meet the target include Hyderabad, Mardan, Nowshera and Quetta.
