Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Tajikistan on a two-day visit. At the airport in the capital, Dushanbe, the Tajik Prime Minister received his Pakistani counterpart.
When Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Tajikistan, the little ones welcomed him and presented him with bouquets. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi is also accompanying the Prime Minister on his visit to Tajikistan.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will attend the SCO summit at the invitation of the Tajik president and meet with the presidents of Iran, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Uzbekistan.
The Prime Minister will also visit the Presidential Palace to meet with Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon. The Prime Minister of Pakistan will also address a joint business forum to promote business cooperation between the two countries.
Earlier, Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry said that the Prime Minister was scheduled to meet with the President of Russia, but he could not come on Monday due to the quarantine of Vladimir Putin.
