Anhoni: An incredible event in the United States

FLORIDA: Contacts on the social networking site Facebook shook the calves, and the incident in the United States made viewers cry.

Police say a girl allegedly abducted by her father has met her mother on the US-Mexico border 14 years later.

Jacqueline Hernandez went missing in 2007 at the age of six, and the mystery remains unsolved, but later this month she contacted her mother on Facebook.

He told his mother, Angelica Venice Salgado, that he was in Mexico and that Jacqueline was now 27 years old. The mother and daughter met in Texas on Monday. The mother-daughter meeting was made possible by the efforts of a number of law enforcement agencies at the state and federal levels.

Hernandez, originally from Clermont, Florida, was abducted by her father, Pablo Hernandez, on December 22, 2007. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.

On September 2, Vanessa Salgado contacted Kellermont police and said she had been contacted online by a girl claiming to be their daughter.

The Florida and Texas police and the Department of Homeland Security later developed a plan to verify the young girl's identity during a meeting with Venice Salgado.

In a Facebook contact, Hernandez and Venus Salgido agreed to meet at Laredo's entrance in Texas. Documents soon proved that she was his daughter.

In a statement Monday, Clermont Police Chief Charles Broad said it was a joint effort that brought the daughter back to her mother 14 years later. The Clarmont Police Department was contacted by the BBC, but received no immediate response.
