In Afghanistan, the Taliban have recaptured three northern districts. Local militias took control of those districts last week.
According to details, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said on his Twitter account on Monday that their forces have cleared the three districts. Since then, they have also tightened control in the three northern provinces of Badakhshan, Takhar and Andarab. These three provinces are located along the Panjshir Valley.
After the Taliban took control of the capital, Kabul, on August 15, local militias lined up and occupied the three districts of Bano, Deh Saleh and Pul-e-Hisar in northern Baghlan Province. Afghanistan may face armed resistance.
