The International Monetary Fund (IMF) transferred دو 2.77 billion to Pakistan.
Private TV, citing sources, claimed that Pakistan's foreign exchange reserves would reach an all-time high after receiving money from the IMF. Finance Ministry sources said that the IMF has given this loan unconditionally at a very low interest rate. It is also not part of the IMF program for Pakistan and its return time has not been determined.
The IMF said in a statement that today was a historic day and that member states had received 50 650 billion. Member States can use this money unconditionally, money transferred to Member States can be used to increase foreign exchange reserves or to repay debts.
