Former New Zealand all-rounder Chris Keynes has suffered a stroke while undergoing heart surgery in Sydney.

According to a report by a foreign news agency, former Kiwi all-rounder Chris Keynes has suffered a stroke. Family sources say that his condition is out of danger but it will take a long time to restore his health.

Chris Keynes was the best Kiwi all-rounder from 1989 to 2006.

He played 62 Tests, 215 ODIs and 2 T20 matches for New Zealand. Chris Keynes has scored 3320 runs in 62 Tests with the help of 5 centuries and 22 fifties at an average of 57.9.

He has also taken 218 wickets in this format.

Chris Keynes scored 4950 runs in ODIs at an average of 84.26, including 4 centuries and 26 half-centuries, and 201 wickets in ODIs.
