The English stars are likely to refuse to come to Pakistan while the ECB has left the decision to participate in the Indian Premier League to the discretion of its players.
The England cricket team is scheduled to visit Pakistan in October for 2 T20 matches. These matches will be held in Rawalpindi on October 13 and 14. This will be the first tour of the English team to Pakistan in a long time but due to IPL. There is a danger that it will fade.
Players contracted by England's IPL franchises may withdraw from the tour of Pakistan as the England and Wales Cricket Board has formally assured the BCCI that they will reschedule their players in the UAE in September-October. There is no objection to participating in the PL.
In India, the league was postponed in May due to the corona virus, after which the remaining matches will now be completed from September 19 to October 15.
The Indian Cricket Board has already informed all the franchises that all the contracted players of England will be available for the entire duration of the league.
"We have received a call from the IPL office informing us that the concerned boards have no objection to the participation of their players in the league. Now it is up to the players," said Casey Vishwanathan, chief of Chennai Super Kings. As for our players, Jason Behrendroff, Sam Karan and Moin Ali from Australia and England will be available for the rest of the season.
